Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
The Missionary Diocese of All Saints Standing Committee and Bishop Search Committee would like to invite all members of the diocese to prayerfully consider and possibly submit the name of someone you feel should be considered in our search for a Bishop Coadjutor who will become our Bishop Ordinary when Bishop Lipka retires.
We have created the website mdasbishop.com to help us communicate with everyone about this bishop search process.
There you can find:
-
a summary of the requirements and characteristics of a bishop set forth in Holy Scripture and in our Provincial and Diocesan Canons,
-
a profile of the sort of man that will best fit the needs and desires of our diocese,
-
and the instructions for submitting a name for consideration.
Names may be submitted until September 15, 2023. At that time, the form will be closed.
We thank you for your help in this discernment process and ask for your continued prayers.
Your servants in Christ,
The Bishop Search Committee of the Missionary Diocese of All Saints
